“Smoky Red”

Wow, what a month we’ve been having in Montana! Fire Season is in full swing and it’s been super hot, as in most parts of the Western United States.


Typically, I can open the windows and get a nice breeze coming in over night and well into the morning hours... not lately. It’s been too smoky and hot, not a good combo for anyone let alone an immunocompromised human, such as myself. It’s been rough fighting off inflammation, detox & meditation to the rescue!


But, I’ve captured some epic photos during this time like new deer babies, Gimpy’s latest “gimpy” moments, smoky sunrises and this beauty!!

🔥🌔🌲 I captioned it “Smoky Red”... the mystic red color created by the ongoing wildfires.



I took this shot last night, during the final stage of the Waxing Gibbous Moon 🌔 as we move into a Full Moon 🌕 of Aquarius, tonight. ✨✨


I pulled up the shot today and thought wow, that’s spectacular...


Ahh, let me pull out my Moonology deck and see the cards for “Gibbous Moon” & “Full Moon in Aquarius”...


Such a beautiful card deck, I must say, and I love that the “Gibbous Moon” card has a forest around it just like mine.


Then I heard that I needed to pull one card from the deck... so I split the deck and did just that.





✨What did I pull but the “Full Moon in Aries” which looks EXACTLY like this shot!! ✨ Check out how closely they resemble each other!


What?! Spirit never ceases to amaze me in delivering the perfect message. I’m so grateful for the connection.
